Like our members we demonstrate
our commitment to continuous quality improvement
through undergoing accreditation through the
International Society for Quality in Health Care
(ISQua).
Survey of MSQH was conducted by ISQua
Organisational Survey Assessment team from 16th
to 20th June 2008. The team comprised of Ms Lisa
Cochrane (Lead Surveyor), Director Auditing
Health and Disability Auditing New Zealand, Dr
Desmond Yen, Executive Manager Corporate &
Finance, Australian Council on Healthcare
Standards (ACHS) and Dr Bhupendra Kumar Rana,
Deputy Director for National Accreditation Board
for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH),
Quality Council of India.
MSQH has been awarded the ISQua Accreditation
certification on Standards and Organization for
a full 4-year period from August 2008 to July
2012. With this accreditation, MSQH has joined
16 other countries in the world to receive the
ISQua Organisational certification and 31 other
countries to receive the ISQua Standards
certification (as at 20th December 2009).
ISQua President, Professor Dr Bruce Barraclough
has officially conferred the award to MSQH on
13th December 2008 in Kuala Lumpur. MSQH and its
Hospital Accreditation Standards are
internationally recognized as an international
brand, as being accepted and is at par with
other hospital accreditation standards in other
countries namely France, New Zealand, Joint
Commission International (JCI), Canada, UK, and
Australia. |
