Ministry of Finance (MOF) Focus Group Meeting for Health Tourism Industry, Budget 2007 Preparation - 10th May 2006:

The meeting was held at Treasury Building and was chaired by Y.Bhg. Dato’ Dr Wan Abd Aziz Bin Abdullah, MOF Chief Secretary of Treasury (Policy).  MSQH were represented by Honorary Secretary Assoc Prof Dr M.A.Kadar Marikar and Encik Saifulhazmi Salihin. 

Dr Kadar proposed and submitted for grant assistance amounting to RM 1,956,000 by explaining the importance of developing new standards and program for the national healthcare accreditation program by establishing a proper infrastructure and human resource development in place.  The chairman expressed his support for the Society’s proposal and will consider them accordingly.    The representative of APHM, Dato’ Dr Kula also supported the proposal.

 

Ministry of Finance (MOF) Focus Group Meeting for Health Tourism Services, Budget 2007 Presentation - 15th June 2006:

The meeting was held at Treasury Building and was chaired by Y.Bhg. Dato’ Dr Ng Yen Yen, MOF Deputy Minister of Finance 1.  MSQH were represented by Honorary Treasurer Puan Jasimah Hassan. 

 Puan Jasimah explained in detail the proposal submitted earlier amounting to RM 1,956,000 to MOF encompassing funding requests for IT Infrastructure, human resources, standards development, development program, nationwide road show campaign and ISQua International Conference.

 

MSQH 2007 Budget Revision Submission to MOF - 16th August 2006:

The secretariat forwarded a revised Budget 2007 to Y.Bhg Dato’ Dr Wan Abd Aziz Bin Abdullah to include the purchase of office space/shop lot for the purpose of carrying out MSQH daily activities. The revised figure amounted to RM 4,956,000 .
